My Eyes are Shaking

Note to self: Large cups of coffee from Pacha can help get you over that mid-afternoon-and-all-I-want-to-do-is-go-home-and-achieve-oneness-with-Tivo hump that crumples up my motivation and effectiveness every day about 2:00. Oh, and when you think you’ve ordered the Zuchini soup and the give you the Zuchini, Coconut, and Yogurt soup, just try it… it’s delicious.

My precious children

My little vegetable garden is starting to pick up some steam… Here’s a little blog-filler list of what I’m growing and how they are doing in this weather.I went for quantity and variety for the learning experience… I’m growing so many different things that at least ONE plant has to be successful to satisfy laws of averages. The vegetables were planted almost a month ago. My only “design” goal was to have key ingredients for […]

Blogs and my job

I never in a million years would have ever imagined my Executive Director utter the words “Blog Community.” Today I had a meeting that might lead to an interesting and unexpected opportunity to do some innovative stuff with a set of incredibly smart people at work. I’m tempted to spend a half hour this weekend setting up an internal MT installation for people on staff to play with… guerilla style… to prove a point… There’s […]

That’s sometimes a hard thing for someone as self-centered as myself to do. But I’ve had the privledge of getting to know David over the past few months, and for those of you who only know him […]

What a great Meetup we had tonight! It’s no longer possible to keep accurate “minutes” about all the stuff we talked about, but I have to quickly mention the a cool, fun idea from a newcomer, Aden. (incidentally, she did a good first-timer recap of her experience: link. Her reaction reminded me of my own reaction to the Journalers meetup and I definitely feel her pain, but am most certainly glad she felt good about […]
